On 22 February 2023, the Centre for Graduate Studies (CGS) at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) participated in a promotional visit to Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo. This initiative aimed to promote the various postgraduate programs offered by UniMAP and foster collaboration with Indonesian educational institutions.

The visit was part of a joint effort between UniMAP and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), focusing on attracting postgraduate students, particularly those seeking Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. The delegation included faculty members and alumni from Universitas Muhammadiyah, who engaged in discussions about academic opportunities and the benefits of studying at UniMAP.

During the visit, the UniMAP representatives highlighted the strengths of their postgraduate programs, research facilities, and support systems available for students. The collaboration aimed to create pathways for student enrollment and enhance academic partnerships between the two countries.

This promotional effort not only aimed to increase student admissions but also emphasized the importance of academic cooperation in enriching the educational landscape for postgraduate students. The CGS looks forward to the potential outcomes of this collaboration, which will benefit both institutions and their students.
