On 13 June 2024, the Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) proudly participated in the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) National Level Competition held at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi. This prestigious event showcased the innovative research conducted by postgraduate students from across the nation.

UniMAP was represented by a talented group of researchers who delivered compelling presentations in two categories. In the Science, Engineering & Technology Category, Gidado Muhammad Junaid and Monisha Devi A/P Elan Solan Marimuthu from the Faculty of Engineering Technology (FKTK) impressed the audience with their insightful research work.

In the Social Science Category, Faharol Bin Zubir and Azlini Binti Che Hassan @ Hassan from the Faculty of Human Development (FPK) captivated the judges with their engaging presentations, highlighting important social issues and research findings.

The 3MT competition challenges students to present their research in just three minutes, using only one static slide. This format encourages clarity, conciseness, and effective communication of complex ideas.

The participation of UniMAP students in this competition reflects the university's commitment to fostering research excellence and developing the presentation skills of its postgraduate community.
