On 12 August 2024, a delegation from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), led by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Shukry Abdul Majid, along with the Director of the Centre for Graduate Studies (CGS), Prof. Madya Dr. Rozyanty Rahman, visited Universitas Prima in Medan, Indonesia. The purpose of the visit was to establish a consortium collaboration for the Postgraduate Program between UniMAP and UNPRI, as well as to promote postgraduate programs offered by UniMAP.
The program was attended by faculty members from various institutions in the Medan area, showcasing the interest in collaborative academic efforts. Additionally, alumni and current PhD students from UniMAP were present, providing insights into their experiences and the opportunities available through the postgraduate programs.
This visit represents a significant step in fostering academic partnerships and enhancing the visibility of UniMAP's postgraduate offerings in the region. The collaboration aims to create a supportive network for postgraduate students, facilitating shared resources and research opportunities between the two institutions.
