On 23 May 2023, UniMAP, represented by the Director of the Centre for International Engagement (CIE) and the Centre for Graduate Studies (CGS), attended a meeting titled "Connecting Minds: A Collaboration Between Iraqi & Malaysian Universities." The event was organized by the Embassy of The Republic of Iraq's Cultural Attaché.
During the meeting, UniMAP and Al-Mustaqbal University in Iraq agreed to collaborate on postgraduate programs, research, and staff/student exchange. This partnership aims to strengthen academic ties and create new opportunities for both institutions.
Through this collaboration, UniMAP continues to expand its international connections and enhance its global academic presence.
